The good news is that Thelma has a more meaningful way?to?transition from Thanksgiving into the Christmas season.?Tuesday, November 27 is Giving Tuesday ? a celebration of the?great tradition of giving.
Giving Tuesday was launched by a consortium of NFPs and ?do good? groups, led by the United Nations Foundation. They have?banded together to?raise awareness for their own causes as well as raise the profile of charitable giving in general.?Partners include The Financial Times, (RED), 92nd Street Y, Unilever, DoSomething.org and 2,000 groups who have committed to spearhead a project that will benefit at least one 501(c)3.
This is a day that Thelma can celebrate. Get on board and help spread the word.
