Brazil surpassed Japan last year with around 41 million Twitter users in that nation of 200 million. By comparison, the U.S. has around 110 million users.
But now, like Orkut before it, My Space and - more recently - Facebook, Twitter is setting up shop in S?o Paulo. With a footprint in the country, Twitter has more interest than ever to increase the population of Brazilian users.
